ISSM is located in the middle of Mexico. Because of its high altitude (approximately 1,770 meters, or the fifth station of Mt. Fuji), it is a warm region, although it is close to the equator.
ISSM processes parts for the U.S. market, and after shipping to Japan, the parts are assembled at the customer's site before shipping to the U.S.
Basically an exporter of auto parts, the company started operations as a Japanese subsidiary in 2014, and although it is still in its infancy and its employees are mainly young, they are diligently engaged in their work every day. With a background of encouraging local production for local consumption, the company is gradually expanding its production scale.
